An Empty Gunny Bag Cannot Stand / Goni vid pa Kapav Dibout - Photographer Spotlight
Images by Alasdair Smith.

We asked photographer Alaisdair Smith to catch the spirit of our launch day when 100 bags went up and down Ashburton Road in Kelvindale. Three wheelbarrows were the only mode of transport and all the tatties are growing well on the doorsteps in the street. It's also been a great way for people to meet each other and make new friendships to support each other through these strange days.
