In case you missed it, AMBERWAVE SAUNA has recently launched in our community garden.
Tucked away in a peaceful spot at the bottom of our community garden, the sauna offers a calm and welcoming space for heat, cold and rest.
Rooted in the German Aufguss (infusion) tradition, the space brings together a high-quality wood-fired sauna seating up to 16 people, as well as temperature-controlled, filtered cold plunges and an outdoor area to cool down and reset.
Members of the public will be able to choose between 1, 1.5 or 2 hour sauna sessions that let you share the space with other guests while moving at your own pace between deep heat, cold plunges and rest. As well as this, guided Aufguss experiences and private hire options are also available for groups looking to experience the sauna together.
The guided Aufguss experiences are immersive two-hour sessions led by a trained sauna master. During these sessions, water and ice infused with pure essential oils release aromatic steam, which is carefully moved around the sauna using towel techniques, all set to a curated soundtrack. These sessions are designed to be deeply relaxing and are a more intentional way to sauna.
