MEET THE GRAFFITI GRANDPARENTS WHO PAINTED A MURAL AT SWG3!

"These Glasgow pensioners unleashed their inner Banksy at a street art class at SWG3.

The so-called Graffiti Grandparents got their creative juices flowing by painting their very own themed mural with street artist Davey Knox.

The group, who are tenants of GHA and Loretto Housing, part of Wheatley Group, were given expert tuition in creating large-scale designs and created a work in tribute to the Livingwell service which helps them live in their own homes for longer.

Davey also took them on a mural tour around the venue and discussed the history and heritage of street art around the world.

The project is part of the new Graffiti Grandparents initiative from the Glasgow Housing Association and care provider Wheatley Group." - Glasgow Live
