SWG3 is one of Scotland’s most distinctive independent venues. Formerly a galvanizers' yard and a clutch of warehouses servicing the Clyde, it's now a collection of atmospheric spaces alive with art, design, music, fashion, food, shopping and nightlife.
Everyone who comes here knows SWG3 for a different reason, in a different way. Sweaty gigs, pulsing club nights, experimental arts performances, global brand activations, fashion shows, a corporate lunch, a studio space — the variety of what goes on here is unparalleled in the city. A year-round creative programme
Commissioned in partnership with the venue’s charity, Clydeside Initiative for Arts Ltd (CIA), SWG3 boasts an ambitious year-round arts programme. The ever-expanding Yardworks, an internationally-celebrated festival and project championing street arts and graffiti, sits at the heart of what we do, amongst a feast of other visual art and community events – from festivals and art fairs, to exhibitions and educational workshops.
Wild nights in warehouse spaces
Whether it's an up-and-coming new artist giving it everything in the Warehouse, or a full complex club night with one of the most sought-after headliners in electronic music, the atmosphere at an SWG3 night is unrivalled. Alongside a packed music and clubs programme, our own club series, SWG3 Presents, showcases a wild and hedonistic mix of some of the very best established, and upcoming artists from across the electronic spectrum.
A home for the creative community
SWG3 has always strived to support the artistic community by offering affordable spaces and facilities for local creatives. Across the second floor of the main warehouse building is a creative hive of communal and private studios, home to more than 50 artists and designers from across Glasgow's thriving creative community, as well as our communal creative workspaces – offering desks at affordable rates for creatives of all kinds to work alone, or side-by-side.

Atmospheric indoor spaces, an expansive outdoors yard and a built-for-purpose Photography Studio: the SWG3 complex has a diverse range of venues available to hire. Attracting clients from across the commercial, corporate and artistic spectrums, our experienced events team is on hand to produce events from high-end brand activations to stylish dinners, awards ceremonies, video shoots and more – taking care of every step of set up along the way.
