Lydia May heads to The Poetry Club on Wednesday 25 November 2026. 

Growing up in Australia, Lydia first explored her creative side through choir, band and theatre, writing her first songs at age 9. With her longtime inspirations including Florence & The Machine, Alanis Morissette and David Bowie, she began producing her own music on GarageBand at 11, releasing a string of early demos before relocating to London to attend the BRIT School. 

This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.

The Poetry Club is located on the ground floor, with an accessible toilet and bar located in the venue.

BY TRAIN + SUBWAY + BUS

The nearest travel hub is Partick Interchange. From there, it’s a 10 minute walk to SWG3 along the Expressway.

BY BIKE

Voi e-bikes are in operation across the city. You can find out more info and download the app here. The nearest station to the venue can be found on the corner of Kelvinhaugh Street and Yorkhill Street. Bikes will not be permitted on site, so pleaselock up before arriving. We have a double height covered bike store next to reception.

There are a variety of pubs and restaurants situated in the heart of Finnieston, which is a five minute walk from the venue. 

SWG3 is located in a residential area. Please respect the neighbours by keeping the noise down when arriving at, and leaving, the venue.
