The ultimate festival for dog lovers, Barklove, returns to SWG3 on Sunday 5 July 2026.
Following an incredible debut event last year, Barlove returns. With something for every kind of dog, dog owners and animal lovers alike, it’s the perfect playful gathering at one of Scotland’s most distinctive cultural venues.
Here’s the festival rundown of everything happening this year – it's a perfectly curated day with lots going on for you and your furry friends, with everything included in your ticket price - except the Pawtrait Studio, which will be available as a drop-in experience payable on the day:
FUN AGILITY AREA - Bearsden Dog Training Club will be back with the perfect area in the yard to stretch those legs and run around.
EDUCATION SESSIONS - Live demos from expertise in grooming and more.
BARKWORKS - This collaboration with Yardworks brings street art and activities to get involved with.
POOCHIE PETE & HIS VERY BIG FEET - Enjoy Stories, songs and drawings from Dougie Payne of Travis, and illustrator Rachel Seago's new book.
PAWS & RESET - Scottish Canine Wellness brings relaxing classes to the studio space for you and your pup to unwind.
PAWTRAIT STUDIO - Professional photography from Barkly Photography to capture all of your pups best angles.
TAROT BY PEACHY - Tarot by Peachy returns to read your cards.
FUN DOG SHOW - Cheer on your favourites throughout the day, with fun categories to get your dogs involved with.
BARKLOVE MARKET - From treats to clothing, shop from some of the best local dog businesses, plus some exciting new traders from further afield.
SCREEN PRINTING - Print Clan are back doing what they do best.
You can also soak up the festival atmosphere and enjoy delicious food from amazing traders throughout the day.
Please note: A human can attend with a maximum of two dogs.
Key information
The Galvanizers Yard is an outdoors space, and accessible facilities are dependent on the scale of the event. Please note that some of the ground in the yard is uneven.
