Scottish trad legends Capercaillie head to SWG3 Galvanizers Yard on Sunday 1 August 2026 alongside Rura & Fara, as part of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games live programme.
From their homeland roots of Argyll in the highlands of Scotland, Capercaillie have been credited with being the major force in bringing traditional Celtic music to the world stage and inspiring the great resurgence so evident today.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.

Booking accessible tickets
The accessible viewing platform is not available for club nights. Accessible customers should purchase a standard ticket then email any requirements to [email protected]. To apply for a free PA ticket, please fill out the PA application form.
BY TRAIN + SUBWAY + BUS
The nearest travel hub is Partick Interchange. From there, it’s a 10 minute walk to SWG3 along the Expressway.
BY BIKE
Voi e-bikes are in operation across the city. You can find out more info and download the app here. The nearest station to the venue can be found on the corner of Kelvinhaugh Street and Yorkhill Street. Bikes will not be permitted on site, so please lock up before arriving. We have a double height covered bike store next to reception.
There are a variety of pubs and restaurants situated in the heart of Finnieston, which is a five minute walk from the venue.
SWG3 is located in a residential area. Please respect the neighbours by keeping the noise down when arriving at, and leaving, the venue.
