Galway singer-songwriter Jamie McIntyre headlines The Poetry Club Glasgow on Sunday 26 October 2025.
McIntyre has been riding the crest of a wave this past year with his 2024 summer single Over Galway Town becoming a viral smash hit amassing nearly 4 million streams on Spotify sitting amongst some of the world’s biggest artists in the viral charts.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.

The nearest travel hub is Partick Interchange. From there, it’s a 10 minute walk to SWG3 along the Expressway.
BY BIKE
The nearest bike racks can be found on the corner of Kelvinhaugh Street and Dumbarton Road, including NextBike stands. Bikes will not be permitted on site, so please lock up before arriving.
There are a variety of pubs and restaurants situated in the heart of Finnieston, which is a five minute walk from the venue.
SWG3 is located in a residential area. Please respect the neighbours by keeping the noise down when arriving at, and leaving, the venue.
