Yardworks In The Community

Art is for everyone. And art has the power to transform, connect, energise, inspire and create meaning. Street arts in particular are a breeding ground for creativity; accessible, immediate, wide-ranging and expressive, it’s the perfect art form for a wide range of creative projects.

Our community work ranges from projects with schools and community groups, to initiatives with marginalised groups, to creative workshops for young people with fewer opportunities, helping them to discover their talent and recognise potential career paths, as well as providing a safe and legal way for them to express themselves. Through our diverse projects, we hope to encourage social change, provide opportunity and transform lives.

Yardworks Govan

In a year peppered with lockdowns and restrictions, Yardworks Govan brought some life, connectivity and colour to young people and other members of the community in Govan.

Yardworks Partick

After an intensive and creative consultation process, we've been working with local residents and community groups in Partick, to develop designs for four large public art spaces.

Yardworks Shawlands

In the southside of the city, we've collaborated with initiatives and institutions from Shawlands Academy to #myshawlands to add to the rich tapestry of street art in the area.

In The Yard

Closer to home, we regularly host creative, educational and, enjoyable workshops, talks and introduction days, bringing the inspirational power of street art to a wide group of people.
