Across the airy second floor of the complex, what began as seven studios to support Glasgow’s flourishing creative scene has now become 23 individual spaces for artists to make their own.
We began with an ambition to support the city’s artistic community by offering affordable spaces and creative facilities, and a couple of rooms. Today, the SWG3 complex is a hive of activity, home to an ever-expanding collection of studios and workspaces for creatives of all kinds to develop, find inspiration and be part of something.

Not just for designers — although you’ll find a fair few — the Design Studio is a communal creative workspace, offering single desks at affordable rates for creatives of all kinds to work alone, or side-by-side.
Scotland’s first purpose-built home for street arts, providing space for hundreds of artists to create, experiment and hone their craft — and the buzzing epicentre of a vibrant new street arts district.
A typographic treasure trove of experimentation. Host to a collection of letterpress printing equipment, the Case Room is a place for laser cutting, 3D printing, lino printing and breaking new creative ground.
