SWG3 sell accessible tickets online through Ticketmaster.co.uk. These tickets give you access to the accessible viewing platform for concerts in the Galvanizers, TV Studio, and our outdoor Galvanizers Yard.  

We do not have an accessible viewing platform in the Warehouse or in the Poetry Club but we can offer limited floor seating in these spaces so buy a general admission ticket and email your requirements to [email protected] and we will assist as best as we can. 

Wheelchair accessible spaces, ambulant disabled (unreserved seating), and companion tickets are the three types of accessible tickets available on our accessible viewing platform. 

One free companion ticket can be booked with each accessible ticket. If you require additional accessible tickets, you will need to make a second purchase. Ticketmaster will contact you via email within 72 hours of placing your order to request proof of eligibility. Tickets may be cancelled if you do not provide the evidence requested.

One free companion ticket can be booked with one accessible ticket. If you require additional accessible tickets you will need to make a second purchase. Ticketmaster will contact you via email within 72 hours of placing your order to request proof of eligibility for your companion ticket booking. Tickets may be cancelled if you do not provide the evidence requested. 

Ticketmaster provide this service to many venues across the UK. This allows you the freedom to book tickets for other events without having to provide evidence to each venue after every purchase.

If you have already purchased an accessible ticket and companion through Ticketmaster.co.uk and you have no additional support needs from the venue, you don’t need to do anything else.

VIP packages are sold separately to accessible tickets. 

Please purchase your own VIP package then contact our access team on 0141 337 1731 or email [email protected] (operating hours 10am-6pm Monday to Friday) to reserve your accessible platform space and companion ticket. You do not need to purchase an additional VIP ticket for your companion.

Metered street parking is available on Eastvale Place, Kelvinhaugh Street and surrounding streets. Charges apply from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday only. Please check Glasgow City Council’s website for the most up-to-date hours and tariffs. 

 

As an accessible venue we can accommodate guide dogs for the visually impaired. Please email [email protected] in advance to enable us to accommodate your request. 

If you require a BSL interpreter please contact the venue and we will place a request with the event organiser.

The venue does not currently provide a BSL Interpreter as standard on all events.

TV Studio 

From the Blue Badge Parking area in our yard to the TV Studio front door – approx. 90metres on a flat tarmac surface. 

From the TV Studio front door to the TV Studio Accessible viewing platform – approx. 40 metres on a flat concrete surface. 

Warehouse 

From the Blue Badge Parking area in our yard to the Warehouse front door – approx. 80metres on a flat tarmac surface. 

From the Warehouse front door to the Warehouse side of stage area – Up a staircase of 26 stairs. Alternatively, there is a lift available for use.  

Poetry Club

Galvanizers Yard 

From the Blue Badge Parking area at the top of the street to the Yard front gates is approx. 100 meters on flat tarmac surface. 

The Galvanizers Yard operates on a seasonal basis during Summer.  

This is an uncovered outdoor space. Accessible facilities for our yard events are dependent on the scale of the event. A raised accessible viewing platform is available for concerts in this area but will not be available for our full day DJ events or for any non-music focussed events. If you are in doubt, please email [email protected] or call us on 0141 337 1731 detailing your requirements and we will assist as best we can to ensure you have the best experience. 

If available, spaces on the raised platform can be purchased online through Ticketmaster.co.uk  

Some of the ground in the yard is uneven. An accessible toilet is located in close proximity to the accessible viewing platform, Other additional accessible toilets will be located across the site. All accessible toilets are accessible at ground level.

This room can be accessed via 5 stairs, a platform lift or via a ramp. Accessible toilets are available in all ground floor level bar spaces servicing this area. Accessible toilets servicing this space requires an NKS Radar Key. If you don’t have a key, then ask a member of staff to assist.

Our TV Studio is on the ground floor with its own bar. The bar has a dropped counter at the far left side. An accessible toilet is available on this floor. We use the NKS Radar key system for this toilet. If you don’t have an NKS key, then ask a member of staff to assist.  

The Poetry Club does not have an accessible platform. The Poetry Club is on the ground floor with an accessible toilet and bar located in the venue. There is a small amount of fixed seating within this venue. We can arrange priority entry to this space. Our Warehouse is located on the second floor of the venue with a bar available within the space. A lift is available from the ground floor to the Warehouse space. A member of staff will operate this for you.  

There is an accessible toilet available on this floor. This will be pointed out to you when you check-in to the event.  

There is an additional accessible toilet on the ground floor. The ground floor toilet requires an NKS Radar key system. If you don’t have an NKS key then ask a member of staff and we can assist. 

The Warehouse has a designated floor area at the side of stage with seats and wheelchair spaces. Please purchase a standard ticket, and email [email protected] detailing your requirements and we will assist.  

The accessible platform is not available for club nights. Some of our events take place in multiple spaces.
