Neil Davidson brings his It's Not Just Concrete: The Skateparks of Scotland exhibition to SWG3 Zinc Bar on Friday 2 May 2025.
Beginning as a photographic survey of Scotland's 100+ concrete skateparks, the project culminated in the publication of the Not Just Concrete photo-book in December of 2024.
In equal parts a survey of the built environment, a photo essay, a road trip and a field guide, the exhibition will present 13 images from locations in villages, towns and cities across Scotland, all shot by Davidson on a drone between 2019 and 2024.
Please note: The exhibition will run from Friday 2 May until Friday 13 June 2025, and will be able to view from 10am until 6pm.
Our Zinc Bar is located on the ground floor of the venue with an accessible toilet. In some cases, we will use this as an entrance for events in the Galvanizers, access to the Galvanizers event space from the Zinc Bar is via a ramp.
