Barklove, a vibrant and joyful new event for dog lovers, heads to SWG3 on Sunday 6 July 2025.
With something for every kind of dog, dog owners and animal lovers alike, it’s set to be a playful gathering at one of Scotland’s most distinctive cultural venues.
Taking over the full SWG3 complex - indoors and outdoors - it’s set to be a lively, family friendly day out with something for everyone. You don’t need a dog to get involved – Barklove is open to all, whether you're a dog owner, an animal lover, or just enjoy being around them.
Expect a packed programme of entertainment and experiences, including feel-good DJ sets, delicious food for both humans and hounds, dog care demos, a curated marketplace of pet focused products, mindful wellbeing sessions, and creative activities like Barkworks – a collaboration with Yardworks, centred around dog themed art.

Please note: While Barklove is a dog-friendly event not every dog will feel comfortable in a busy environment. If your dog is anxious, easily overwhelmed, or doesn’t enjoy being around other dogs or large groups of people, this might not be the right setting for them. Please consider what’s best for your dog before deciding to bring them along. All dogs attending must be kept on a leash at all times, with one dog per adult.
