Barklove, a vibrant and joyful new event for dog lovers, heads to SWG3 on Sunday 6 July 2025.

With something for every kind of dog, dog owners and animal lovers alike, it’s set to be a playful gathering at one of Scotland’s most distinctive cultural venues. Taking over the entire SWG3 complex, both indoors and out, Barklove promises a fun-filled day of activities  and entertainment, with dog care demonstrations, wellbeing classes, pet portraits and a curated market of pet-focused products.

Please note: Barklove is a fully dog-friendly event, but it’s not just for those attending with a pup — dog lovers of all kinds are welcome. Whether coming along with a dog or simply passionate about them, there’s plenty to enjoy across the day.

That said, not every dog will feel comfortable in a busy environment. If your dog is anxious, easily overwhelmed, or doesn’t enjoy being around other dogs or large groups of people, this might not be the right setting for them. Please consider what’s best for your dog before deciding to bring them along. All dogs attending must be kept on a leash at all times.
