Local group Òrain headline The Poetry Club on Sunday 27 April 2025.

Òrain celebrate the release of their new four-track EP with a special live show. Evolving from Fraser Johnston’s solo project into a fully collaborative outfit, their sound blends folk, psychedelia, jazz, and ambient textures—think Heron and Vashti Bunyan meets Jessica Pratt and Sylvie, with a dash of spiritual jazz. Expect intricate arrangements, hypnotic flute lines, and rich, interwoven melodies. This launch show is a rare chance to experience òrain at their most expansive, as they bring their latest work to life alongside a carefully curated lineup of special guest, including Glasgow's beloved BOAB.

This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.
