The Johnny Halifax Invocation
Gil De Ray

The latest edition of Manifesto Of Bliss, the bi-monthly night celebrating counter-culture at The Poetry Club, hosted by DJs Death Wish & Blood Stain (aka Brother Joseph & David Keenan), will take place on Thursday 24 October 2024.

The night presents a live version of their cult radio show, Manifesto of Bliss, which covers all contemporary manifestations of counter-cultural joy, with a remit that takes in music, literature, DJs, live bands, art works and good times.

Joining them for this edition is The Johnny Halifax Invocation - a primitive blues outsider, who frequently wows audiences with his demented lap-steel guitar playing.

This event is strictly 18+. We accept two forms of ID: a driver's licence (either full or provisional), or a passport (this must be valid and in-date).

Key Information
The Poetry Club is located on the ground floor, with an accessible toilet and bar located in the venue.
