Local art-pop group Diving Horse headline The Poetry Club on Friday 15 November 2024. 

With influences ranging from LCD Soundsystem to The National, Glasgow sextet Diving Horse are an exciting proposition, combining artful indie rock with pop hooks. They’ve been championed by Scotland On Sunday, Jim Gellatly, via Amazing Radio (with spins both in the UK and the US), as well as support from Sunny Govan, scores of community radio stations and online blogs such as Scots Whay Hae!

This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.

The Poetry Club is located on the ground floor, with an accessible toilet and bar located in the venue.

BY TRAIN + SUBWAY + BUS

The nearest travel hub is Partick Interchange. From there, it’s a 10 minute walk to SWG3 along the Expressway.

BY BIKE

The nearest bike racks can be found on the corner of Kelvinhaugh Street and Dumbarton Road, including NextBike stands. Bikes will not be permitted on site, so please lock up before arriving.

There are a variety of pubs and restaurants situated in the heart of Finnieston, which is a five minute walk from the venue. 

SWG3 is located in a residential area. Please respect the neighbours by keeping the noise down when arriving at, and leaving, the venue.
