Experimental pop artist Chanel Beads headlines The Poetry Club on Wednesday 13 November 2024.
Chanel Beads is the project of Shane Lavers, an established presence among the New York DIY scene whose early output of experimental electronic pop singles drew, quite rightly, great affection and a keenness from many a would-be label home. Now settled on the esteemed turf of Indiana's Jagjaguwar, Lavers is set to release his debut album under Chanel Beads, Your Day Will Come, a dreamlike mix of raw sonics and eclectic structures that blend to form a searingly beautiful record that is acutely emotive.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.

The nearest travel hub is Partick Interchange. From there, it’s a 10 minute walk to SWG3 along the Expressway.
BY BIKE
The nearest bike racks can be found on the corner of Kelvinhaugh Street and Dumbarton Road, including NextBike stands. Bikes will not be permitted on site, so please lock up before arriving.
There are a variety of pubs and restaurants situated in the heart of Finnieston, which is a five minute walk from the venue.
SWG3 is located in a residential area. Please respect the neighbours by keeping the noise down when arriving at, and leaving, the venue.
