The sixth edition of Manifesto Of Bliss, the bi-monthly night celebrating counter-culture at The Poetry Club, hosted by DJs Death Wish & Blood Stain (aka Brother Joseph & David Keenan), will take place on Thursday 19 December 2024.
The night presents a live version of their cult radio show, Manifesto of Bliss, which covers all contemporary manifestations of counter-cultural joy, with a remit that takes in music, literature, DJs, live bands, art works and good times.
Heading along for the ride is Kinbrae - the musical project of twin brothers Andy & Mike Truscott, based in Edinburgh and Fife. Kinbrae play a mixture of brass, acoustic guitar, percussion and musique concrete to create a uniquely experimental yet accessible form of ambient, classical music. Joining them is modular-synth experimenter Ty Lumnus, who creates otherworldly dystopian soundscapes.
This event is strictly 18+. We accept two forms of ID: a driver's licence (either full or provisional), or a passport (this must be valid and in-date).

The Poetry Club is located on the ground floor, with an accessible toilet and bar located in the venue.

BY TRAIN + SUBWAY + BUS
The nearest travel hub is Partick Interchange. From there, it’s a 10 minute walk to SWG3 along the Expressway.
BY BIKE
The nearest bike racks can be found on the corner of Kelvinhaugh Street and Dumbarton Road, including NextBike stands. Bikes will not be permitted on site, so please lock up before arriving.
There are a variety of pubs and restaurants situated in the heart of Finnieston, which is a five minute walk from the venue.
SWG3 is located in a residential area. Please respect the neighbours by keeping the noise down when arriving at, and leaving, the venue.
