Pittsburgh based singer-songwriter Kevin Garrett headlines The Poetry Club on Thursday 19 September 2024.
In 2015, Kevin hit the road with Irish sensation James Vincent McMorrow and unveiled his debut EP, Mellow Drama, which attracted acclaim from The Fader, Complex, Vibe, and Pancakes & Whiskey. 2017 saw him sell out his first headline tour before spending 2018 recording the new album with producer Brad Cook (War On Drugs, Bon Iver) in Durham, NC.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.

The nearest travel hub is Partick Interchange. From there, it’s a 10 minute walk to SWG3 along the Expressway.
BY BIKE
The nearest bike racks can be found on the corner of Kelvinhaugh Street and Dumbarton Road, including NextBike stands. Bikes will not be permitted on site, so please lock up before arriving.
There are a variety of pubs and restaurants situated in the heart of Finnieston, which is a five minute walk from the venue.
SWG3 is located in a residential area. Please respect the neighbours by keeping the noise down when arriving at, and leaving, the venue.
