As part of Glasgow International 24, visual artist Martin Beck's 13 hour video piece, Last Night, will be screened in SWG3 Warehouse throughout June – starting on Friday 7 June 2024.
2 June 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of the penultimate party hosted by David Mancuso at his loft space at 99 Prince Street in New York. Last Night is based on the 119 songs played by Mancuso on that night.
The Loft became a legendary blueprint after which many celebrated disco-era New York clubs and beyond tried to model themselves. Last Night shows the records being played in full, in sequence on a vintage turntable in a domestic atmosphere, providing an intimate journey of music and images reflecting a singular night at a particular moment in time.
Screening times:
Screenings will run from Fri 7 Jun till Sun 23 Jun.
Full length screenings of the film will take place on the following dates:
Thu 6 - Sun 9 Jun: 10am – 11:30pm
Sat 22 Jun: 10am – 11.30pm
Condensed screening will take place on the following dates:
Fri 14 – Sun 16 Jun:10am – 6pm
Fri 21 + Sun 23 Jun: 10am – 6pm
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.

Our Warehouse is located on the second floor of the venue. A lift is available from the ground floor to the warehouse, which a member of staff will operate for you. There is also an accessible toilet on the ground floor.

BY TRAIN + SUBWAY + BUS
The nearest travel hub is Partick Interchange. From there, it’s a 10 minute walk to SWG3 along the Expressway.
BY BIKE
The nearest bike racks can be found on the corner of Kelvinhaugh Street and Dumbarton Road, including NextBike stands. Bikes will not be permitted on site, so please lock up before arriving.
There are a variety of pubs and restaurants situated in the heart of Finnieston, which is a five minute walk from the venue.
SWG3 is located in a residential area. Please respect the neighbours by keeping the noise down when arriving at, and leaving, the venue.
