Norwegian doom metal performer Abbath Doom Occulta headlines SWG3 Galvanizers on Monday 24 June 2024.
Widely regarded as one of black and extreme metals most prominent frontmen, Occulta helmed one of the most influential metal bands ever to emerge from Norway, Immortal, for nearly three decades. With his characteristic voice, signature guitar riffs and undisputed talent as a stage performer, the charismatic singer helped spearheading the Norwegian trio from local clubs to the biggest festival stages in the world.
This summer Abbath and his band will revisit the past and pay tribute to the legacy by performing a carefully selected set of old fan favorites and iconic metal anthems.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.

The Galvanizers can be accessed via a small set of stairs, platform lift or ramp. Accessible toilets are available in all ground floor level bars servicing this space.

Unreserved seats, wheelchair spaces and free companion tickets can be booked through Ticketmaster online for this event. BY TRAIN + SUBWAY + BUS
The nearest travel hub is Partick Interchange. From there, it’s a 10 minute walk to SWG3 along the Expressway.
BY BIKE
The nearest bike racks can be found on the corner of Kelvinhaugh Street and Dumbarton Road, including NextBike stands. Bikes will not be permitted on site, so please lock up before arriving.
There are a variety of pubs and restaurants situated in the heart of Finnieston, which is a five minute walk from the venue.
SWG3 is located in a residential area. Please respect the neighbours by keeping the noise down when arriving at, and leaving, the venue.
