British singer-songwriter Nadine Shah headlines SWG3 Warehouse on Sunday 28 April 2024.
After a prolonged absence from releasing music, Shah is back with a new release on a new label – the inaugural release on the newly-formed EMI North imprint – Filthy Underneath chronicles a period of unprecedented turbulence in Nadine Shah’s life. And yet, the experience of listening to it is oddly life-affirming. Three years might seem like a prolonged absence to some people, but it’s also a period of time in which the apparatus that holds your world in place can be dismantled and reassembled so that you can keep living, keep creating, and the more Nadine tells you about the last three years of her life – losing her mother to cancer at the height of lockdown, the suicide attempt that ended her marriage, and the subsequent period in rehab that slowly endowed her with the tools to outwit the pernicious voices that once overwhelmed her – the more incredible it is that she has returned as soon as she has done.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.

Our Warehouse is located on the second floor of the venue. A lift is available from the ground floor to the warehouse, which a member of staff will operate for you. There is also an accessible toilet on the ground floor.

The nearest travel hub is Partick Interchange. From there, it’s a 10 minute walk to SWG3 along the Expressway.
BY BIKE
The nearest bike racks can be found on the corner of Kelvinhaugh Street and Dumbarton Road, including NextBike stands. Bikes will not be permitted on site, so please lock up before arriving.
There are a variety of pubs and restaurants situated in the heart of Finnieston, which is a five minute walk from the venue.
SWG3 is located in a residential area. Please respect the neighbours by keeping the noise down when arriving at, and leaving, the venue.
