Swedish singer-songwriter Cornelia Jakobs headlines The Poetry Club on Sunday 4 February 2024.
Hailing from a musical family, Jakobs takes influence from a variety of places - and these influences shine through in her music which is filled with heartfelt, powerful lyricism. Having enjoyed a successful musical career as part of the Swedish pop group Stockholm Syndrome (who were known as Love Generation until 2012), Jakobs realised her ambitions as a solo artist and in 2022 she entered and won Melodifestivalen with her single Hold Me Closer. The single was a hit in her homeland, and resulted in her representing Sweden at Eurovision 2022, where they finished fourth.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.
