Indie-folk band Stornoway will headline SWG3 Galvanizers on Thursday 26 October 2023.
Despite being named after an isle in the Scottish Outer Hebrides, the group formed in 2005 when the members were studying at Oxford University. With an acoustic, jangly sound reminiscent of acts such as Belle & Sebastian, the group quickly gained a strong following – a following that significantly increased after the release of their debut album Beachcomber's Windowsill in 2010.
Having released three studio albums, the group disbanded in late 2017, but are now ready to take to the stage once more following a reunion in 2022.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.
The Galvanizers can be accessed via a small set of stairs, platform lift or ramp. Accessible toilets are available in all ground floor level bars servicing this space.
The Galvanizers has an accessible viewing platform with seats and wheelchair spaces
