English indie rockers Black Foxxes head to The Poetry Club on Monday 2 October 2023.

Formed in 2013, and led by the charismatic frontman Mark Holley, the band's emotionally charged music strikes a delicate balance between raw vulnerability and powerful intensity. With their introspective lyrics, dynamic instrumentation, and Holley's captivating vocals, Black Foxxes have garnered a dedicated fanbase and critical acclaim. Their debut album I'm Not Well received widespread praise, showcasing their ability to create deeply personal and impactful songs with their unique blend of alternative rock and post-hardcore influences.

This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.

BY TRAIN + SUBWAY + BUS

The nearest travel hub is Partick Interchange. From there, it’s a 10 minute walk to SWG3 along the Expressway.

BY BIKE

The nearest bike racks can be found on the corner of Kelvinhaugh Street and Dumbarton Road, including NextBike stands. Bikes will not be permitted on site, so please lock up before arriving.

There are a variety of pubs and restaurants situated in the heart of Finnieston, which is a five minute walk from the venue. 

SWG3 is located in a residential area. Please respect the neighbours by keeping the noise down when arriving at, and leaving, the venue.
