English singer-songwriter Tom A. Smith headlines The Poetry Club on Sunday 5 November 2023.
With music laced with passionate vocals, and catchy riffs, Smith has achieved a lot in his career this far - despite only being 19 years of age. Having played his first gig aged eight at a local club in Newcastle, he quickly developed a taste for performing live. He has performed at Glastonbury, and was handpicked to perform at Kendal Calling by indie legend Tim Burgess. As well as this, he has become a bit of a legend in the north of England thanks to support slots with northern artists such as Catfish & The Bottlemen, and Sam Fender. Now, his focus is on putting out new music and performing live to audiences across the country, who have been following his progress with keen intrigue so far.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.
The Poetry Club is located on the ground floor, with an accessible toilet and bar located in the venue.
