British indie rockers Starsailor headline SWG3 TV Studio on Sunday 26 November 2023.
After forming in Wigan in, 1999, the group quickly established themselves as the latest up-and-comers to keep an eye on in the post-Britpop scene in the early 2000s, and had a queue of record companies eager to sign them in the summer of 2000. EMI won the race, and in 2001, the group released their debut album Love Is Here to critical acclaim.
Several sold out UK tours followed, and their sophomore album Silence Is Easy was released in 2003, with the title track proving to be the group's most successful single to date, after reaching number 9 in the charts. To date, the group have released five studio albums and have supported legendary bands such as the Pixies, Manic Street Preachers, and James.
