Indie-folk artist Gregory Alan Isakov headlines SWG3 Galvanizers on Tuesday 21 November 2023.
Born in South Africa, Isakov moved to the United States when he was only 7 years old. Growing up, he was influenced by the likes of Leonard Cohen and Bruce Springsteen, and as a result he decided to learn to play several instruments. Music took a back seat in his life when he decided to study Horticulture at University, and he became content with just playing the odd gig here and there – however, that changed when the opportunity arose to support one of his heroes, Kelly Joe Phelps.
From that moment on, music has become the main focus in Isakov's life, and with five studio albums under his belt, as well as countless performances with a variety of national symphony orchestras, and a Grammy nomination to his name, he shows no sign of slowing down any time soon.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.
