Electronic-tinged indie rockers Friendly Fires headline SWG3 TV Studio on Monday 27 November 2023.
Formed by three lifelong friends in the early 2000s, Friendly Fires instantly caught the attention of audiences, and the music press, in Britain with their unique brand of shoegaze-infused, electronic-tinged indie rock. In a time where electronic elements weren't present within indie music, the group stood apart from their contemporaries, and were quickly snapped up by XL Recordings. Their self titled debut, released in 2008, was a huge hit and led to a string of award nominations. This was a sign of things to come for the group – who went on to release a further two studio albums between 2008 and 2019.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.

BY TRAIN + SUBWAY + BUS
The nearest travel hub is Partick Interchange. From there, it’s a 10 minute walk to SWG3 along the Expressway.
BY BIKE
The nearest bike racks can be found on the corner of Kelvinhaugh Street and Dumbarton Road, including NextBike stands. Bikes will not be permitted on site, so please lock up before arriving.
There are a variety of pubs and restaurants situated in the heart of Finnieston, which is a five minute walk from the venue.
SWG3 is located in a residential area. Please respect the neighbours by keeping the noise down when arriving at, and leaving, the venue.
