Indie-rock TikTok superstars Sir Chloe come to SWG3 TV Studio on Wednesday 7 June 2023.
Sir Chloe is the brainchild of lead-singer Dana Foote, who formed the band in her senior year at Bennington College, Vermont. Instead of producing a final thesis, Foote decided to put on a concert where she would perform original songs. However, she needed a band to flesh out the music – thus, Sir Chloe was born.
Influences of Courtney Barnett, Pixies, and St.Vincent can be heard in the music, but Foote cites composers such as Claude Debussy and Béla Bartók amongst her biggest influences.
The group released their debut E.P Party Favors in 2020, and were projected into the mainstream when their song Michelle went viral on TikTok.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.
