Singer-songwriter Gracie Carter is headlining SWG3 Warehouse on Saturday 3 June 2023.
Carter was born in London, but moved to Hove at a young age, and it was here that her relationship with music began. With a unique family dynamic – a single mum, a foster sister and absent father, and a feeling of isolation due to being a young person of colour in a predominantly white area, she often felt angry and alone. However, she decided to put her feelings down on paper. Then, when her step-dad bought her a guitar, she started transforming these feelings into songs.
Fast forward a few years, and by the age of 17 she was signed and was releasing her own music. In 2018, she released her debut EP Why Her Not Me to critical acclaim. A string of strong singles followed which earned her support slots for HAIM, Mabel, and Dua Lipa for her world tour. Now, Carter is ready to get back on the road again, but as a headliner this time around.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.

Our Warehouse is located on the second floor of the venue. A lift is available from the ground floor to the warehouse, which a member of staff will operate for you. There is also an accessible toilet on the ground floor.
