London-born rocker and producer Aziya headlines The Poetry Club on Monday 12 June 2023.
Having grown up on a diet of guitar music, Aziya knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in music. Citing artists and producers such as H.E.R, Grimes, and St Vincent as influences, she has developed a style that is recognisable yet unique.
She caught the attention of H.E.R after posting a series of covers on Instagram, and was invited to perform on a livestream to over 300,000 people – despite not having released any music of her own at that point. Since then, she has released a series of singles, and her debut EP We Speak Of Tides was released in 2021.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.
