Highly-acclaimed jazz quintet Ezra Collective headline the SWG3 Galvanizers in February 2023.
London five-piece Ezra Collective first came together as teenagers, during a music education initiative at London's South Bank Centre back in 2012. They've since shot forward to become architects of a new phase in their city’s musical journey, a hybrid time in which Black genres — jazz, grime, afrobeat and more — can dovetail and harmonize fluidly, at new, forever rising levels.
Fusing elements of afro-beat, hip-hop and soul, the group received critical acclaim for their 2019 debut You Can’t Steal My Joy and an explosive Glastonbury performance that brought UK jazz to unseen heights. Their anticipated second album, Where I’m Meant To Be, is released in autumn 2022.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.
