Independent queer singer-songwriter Tom Aspaul headlines The Poetry Club on Friday 28 April 2023.
Aspaul, who released his debut album Black Country Disco in 2020, began his musical career writing hits for artist such as Kylie Minogue, Celeste, and Becky Hill. He decided that he wanted to go down a different path and start writing songs for himself, and following the success of his debut album, he enjoyed sold out shows across the UK and gained a superstar reputation amongst the LGBTQ+ music community.
His 2021 follow-up Life in Plastic has been described as a 'party from start to finish' and was met with instant critical acclaim.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.
The Poetry Club is located on the ground floor, with an accessible toilet and bar located in the venue.
