Globally-renowned Australian jazz-funk ensemble The Cat Empire come to SWG3 this April.
Formed in Melbourne, and adored the world over, across a twenty-year career, The Cat Empire have become one of Australia’s most successful musical exports. Crafting infectious, genre-embracing anthems and releasing chart-topping, multi-platinum selling albums, the band has grown an ardent army of fans at home and abroad with their feel-good, high-energy sound.
With the original line-up disbanding in September 2021, and delivering some huge farewell shows, in August 2022 the next chapter of The Cat Empire began, with founding members Felix Riebl and Ollie McGill stepping forward with “a re-imagined, vibrant, cross-cultural, and joyful collective of musicians and artists”.
This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.
