SWG3 Presents MoodRAW w/ Nicole Moudaber + Heidi & Marino Canal
Doors at 9PM
Nicole Moudaber often brings different elements of her style and taste to life under the MOOD banner, showing her roots as a party promoter, and a New York City clubber during the golden age of the resident DJ. In 2014, she headlined the sold-out MoodRAW tour, set in in off-the-grid warehouse venues from Los Angeles to London.
During Miami Music Week, the annual industry confab in South Beach, she hosts MoodDAY and MoodNIGHT showcases, capturing both the pool and after-hours party vibes with packed lineups of superstar friends (like Carl Cox and Danny Tenaglia). She curated a Mood stage at the 2015 Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas; and is a fixture of the annual BPM Festival in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and played the 10-day event’s official closing party in 2016.
Heidi spends her life immersed in music. She lives and breathes the touring lifestyle, whether its 25,000 person crowds in Latin America, or festivals such as Exit, Global Gathering, Detroit's Movement fest, or the infamous cave of Fabric in London, or Japan’s Womb, or holding her own at Jackathon residency strongholds in Ibiza, London, Berlin’s Watergate and Manchester; she fits within any destination around the world. Never afraid to fight for what she wants, for Heidi it’s not about right place, right time. She has won through sheer determination and sharing the magic with those she loves at every step.
“I made the leap of faith into choosing this as a career and putting every last ounce of energy I have into it. I could have flopped on my face but I stuck it out and proved myself to my peers. Every achievement was because I gave 110% of myself, treated everyone with genuine kindness, and sacrificed things in my life that people take for granted.
Influenced by the works of Brian Eno, Philip Glass, John Cage and Steve Reich, Marino has carved his own staple sound in the techno scene through a stream of solid releases. His debut album "Over Under" has received praise from Adam Beyer, Nicole Moudaber, Adriatique Joris Voorn, Pan-Pot, reaching Beatport's Top10 Techno releases and Top20 overall.
Marino’s productions are best described as organic, hypnotic and melancholic. He first got involved in the electronic music scene by attending forest raves hosted by his parents. It was there when he first had contact with a set of decks.
In the past three years he has played in places like The BPM Festival, Output NYC, Sankeys Ibiza, IMS Ibiza, and Fabric London. Marino’s most recent works include a tight collaboration with Nicole Moudaber’s MOOD Records where he released his highly acclaimed debut album "Over Under".
